Stafford
Loan

A Stafford loan is a government-guaranteed student loan offering low interest rates and deferred payment options to students enrolled in an eligible program at least half-time. There are two types of Stafford loans – subsidized and unsubsidized.

Federal Stafford Loan Master Promissory Note
Use this form to apply for a Stafford Loan. A promissory note is a written agreement stating that the borrower will repay the loan.

Federal Stafford Loan School Certification
Form to be signed by your school's financial aid representative to document that you meet Stafford loan eligibility requirements.

PLUS Loans
(Parent Loans for Undergraduate Students)

Loans made to parents of dependent undergraduate students based on credit worthiness, not financial need. Parents may borrow up to the total cost of education, minus any financial aid received by the student.

Endorser Addendum to PLUS Loan Application and Master Promissory Note
An endorser (or cosigner) for a PLUS loan is an individual who signs the Endorser Addendum and agrees to be secondarily liable for the PLUS loan debt. The Endorser Addendum provides the endorser with important information similar to the PLUS MPN.

(Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

To apply for Federal student financial aid, including the campus-based Perkins Loan, and to apply for many state student aid programs, students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
